The Siemens SIRIUS 3RW4426-1BC36 is a soft starter designed for smooth acceleration of three-phase induction motors. It provides controlled starting current and torque, reducing mechanical stress on the motor and connected machinery. At 575 V and 50 °C ambient temperature, it is rated for 68 A and 50 hp in standard configuration, and 118 A and 100 hp when connected inside-delta. This unit operates on 400-690 V AC control voltage and 115 V AC for auxiliary circuits, featuring screw terminals.
This soft starter is ideal for applications where smooth motor start-up is critical, such as conveyors, pumps, fans, and compressors, helping to prevent system shock and reduce power demand peaks.
