Returns & Refund Policy

โš ๏ธ Important: Read Before Purchasing

All sales are carefully documented with photos and condition reports before shipping. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these return terms. Returns are a privilege, not a guaranteeโ€”please order carefully.

7-Day Return Window

We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery for non-warranty returns. After 7 days, returns will not be accepted under any circumstances.

๐Ÿ“‹ To Qualify for a Return, ALL of the Following Must Be True:

  • Unused & Uninstalled โ€” Part has never been powered on, installed, or connected to any system
  • Original Condition โ€” No marks, scratches, damage, or signs of handling beyond inspection
  • Original Packaging โ€” All original boxes, bags, foam, anti-static wrap, and tags intact
  • Complete โ€” All included accessories, manuals, cables, and documentation present
  • Proof of Purchase โ€” Original invoice or order confirmation from Stanlo Automation

We photograph and document every item before shipping. If a returned item does not match the condition it was sent in, we reserve the right to refuse the return or apply additional fees.

Restocking Fees

All non-warranty returns are subject to a restocking fee. The fee amount is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on the item's condition, packaging, and circumstances of the return.

Restocking fees cover inspection, repackaging, inventory processing, and administrative costs. The fee will be communicated to you when your return is approved and will be deducted from your refund.

๐Ÿ’ก Exceptions (No Restocking Fee):

  • We sent the wrong item โ€” Full refund + we pay return shipping
  • Item is defective/DOA โ€” Covered under warranty, replacement or full refund

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

๐Ÿšซ Absolutely No Returns On:

  • Custom/Special Orders โ€” Any item ordered specifically for you (marked on quote)
  • Installed Parts โ€” Any item that has been connected, mounted, or powered on
  • Programmed Items โ€” PLCs, HMIs, or drives with customer programming
  • Modified Items โ€” Any part that has been altered, repaired, or tampered with
  • Items Missing Packaging โ€” Returns without original packaging will be refused
  • Items Past 7 Days โ€” No exceptions to the return window
  • Clearance/As-Is Items โ€” Sold with no returns accepted
  • Software & Licenses โ€” Non-refundable once delivered

If you attempt to return a non-returnable item, it will be shipped back to you at your expense.

How to Initiate a Return

Returns must be pre-approved. Items sent back without authorization will be refused and returned to sender at their expense.

Request RMA (Return Authorization)

Email sales@stanloautomation.com with your order number, part number, reason for return, and photos of the item in current condition.

Wait for Approval

We'll review your request within 1-2 business days. If approved, you'll receive an RMA number and return instructions.

Ship the Item Back

Pack securely in original packaging. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Ship with tracking and insuranceโ€”you are responsible until we receive it.

Inspection & Refund

We inspect all returns within 3-5 business days of receipt. Approved refunds (minus any fees) are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that's damaged in shipping, defective, or incorrect:

โฐ You Must Report Within 7 Business Days

Contact us immediately at sales@stanloautomation.com with:

  • Photos of the damage or defect
  • Photos of the packaging (for shipping damage claims)
  • Your order number and description of the issue

Claims reported after 7 business days will not be honored. We cannot accept damage claims once you've had the item for more than a week.

For items damaged in shipping, do not discard the packagingโ€”we may need it for carrier claims.

Refund Details

  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method only
  • Processing Time: 5-7 business days after inspection approval
  • Original Shipping: Non-refundable (except for our errors)
  • Return Shipping: Paid by customer (except for our errors or defects)
  • Partial Refunds: May be issued if item is not in original condition

Bank processing times vary. If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation, contact your financial institution first, then reach out to us.

โš ๏ธ Abuse Prevention Notice

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers with excessive return history
  • Fraudulent return attempts will result in account termination and may be reported
  • All return decisions by Stanlo Automation are final
  • We maintain detailed records and photos of all outbound shipments
