The Siemens 3RW4453-6BC35 is a SIRIUS soft starter designed for high-power motor applications. At 575 V and 50 °C, it has a rated operational current of 494 A, supporting up to 500 hp. For inside-delta connections, it can handle 856 A, supporting up to 950 hp. The starter operates within a 400-600 V AC voltage range and uses 115 V AC for its control circuitry. It features screw terminals for secure connections.
This soft starter was used in heavy-duty industrial applications where smooth motor starting and torque control were critical, such as in large conveyor systems, crushers, and industrial pumps. Its ability to handle high currents made it suitable for powerful machinery.
