The Siemens Pointek CLS200 is an RF Capacitance point level switch with a rod design, engineered for detecting level and interface in liquids, solids, slurries, and foam, even in hazardous environments. This model allows for adjustable insertion up to 5.5 m (18.04 ft) and features adaptable sensitivity with build-up compensation. It is equipped with a threaded 1 1/4" NPT process connection in 316L stainless steel and an extended rod length of 1000mm. The wetted seals are FKM, and the probe is 316L Stainless Steel with a PPS probe body. It holds Explosion Proof approvals (CSA/FM Class I, II, III Div.1 Gr.A, B, C, D, E, F, G T4) and features an IP65 aluminum enclosure with two M20 x 1.5 cable inlets.

This level switch is designed for use in critical hazardous locations within industries such as petrochemical, chemical processing, and mining, where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts may be present. The extended rod length is ideal for deeper vessels, and the PPS probe body offers good chemical resistance for various industrial media.
