The Siemens 7SG1714-5EA02-0DA0, also known as the RHO 3, is a versatile four-pole motor protection relay designed for comprehensive fault detection and protection. It features 3-pole phase-fault and earth-fault protection elements. The relay operates with a nominal current of 1/5A and offers a low-burden binary input type.
This relay is equipped with auxiliary voltage options of 110/220V DC and a 220V AC low burden binary input. Its I/O configuration includes 1 binary input and 7 binary outputs (including 3 changeovers). Communication capabilities are provided via an RS485 interface, supporting either IEC 60870-5-103 or Modbus RTU protocols. It does not have RTD inputs and is housed in an E6 case size.
