Allen Bradley 1747-SDN SLC 500 DeviceNet Scanner Module

The Allen Bradley 1747-SDN is a DeviceNet communication scanner module designed for the SLC 500 platform. It acts as a master on the DeviceNet network, enabling seamless communication with up to 63 DeviceNet capable devices and adapter modules. This single-slot module supports various messaging configurations, including polled, strobe, change-of-state, and cyclic I/O.

Featuring pass-through capability, the 1747-SDN can serve as a bridge between separate DeviceNet networks, effectively replacing older connection modules. It operates at a data transfer speed of 125 Kbps. The module is compatible with SLC 5/02 controllers and later, and provides LED status indicators for module and network health.
