The Allen-Bradley 1771-IFMS is an intrinsically safe, fast millivolt input module designed for PLC-5 systems. It features eight differential, low-level inputs with a voltage range of 0-50 mV and a 12-bit binary resolution. The module offers an accuracy of 0.1% of range at 25Β°C and Β±1 LSB linearity and repeatability. It includes input voltage protection up to 32V and is designed for a maximum input voltage range of Β±10VDC.
This module is ideal for precision monitoring in hazardous environments, interfacing with field devices that produce low-level differential signals. Its internal analog-to-digital converter provides a scan rate of 14.5 ms for all eight channels without digital filtering.
