The Schneider Electric VW3A31401 is an additional EMC input filter designed for variable speed drives in the Altivar range and servo drives in the Lexium range. It helps drives meet more stringent electromagnetic compatibility requirements by reducing conducted emissions on the line supply to below the limits of IEC/EN 61800-3 categories C1 or C2, and can also enlarge the maximum motor cable length for category C3.

This IP20 rated filter is suitable for TN and TT type systems and can be mounted beside or under the drive.
