The Siemens 1FT6108-8AC71-4EG1 is a SIMOTICS S synchronous servo motor featuring an absolute encoder for precise position control without homing. It offers 70 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm with natural cooling. This motor is configured for IM B5 mounting (IM V1, IM V3) with an axial power and signal connector outlet on the drive end (DE). It includes an EnDat absolute encoder (2048 S/R), a smooth shaft with circular runout tolerance N, and notably, *does not* have a holding brake. A 10% derating applies due to the absolute encoder. The vibration severity grade is N, and it is protected by a Gamma sealing ring for IP65 ingress protection.
