The Siemens SIPART PS2 (6DR5020-0EM10-0AA4) is a smart electropneumatic positioner designed for precise control of linear and part-turn actuators. It operates with a 4-20mA analog input and supports both Ex (intrinsically safe) and nEx (non-Ex) applications. The positioner features a durable polycarbonate enclosure and non-contacting, wear-free position detection (NCS).
This positioner is configurable for double-acting actuators and includes a digital I/O module with 1 digital input and 3 digital outputs (2 for limit values, 1 for fault indication). It also supports standard fail-safe operation, which depressurizes the actuator in case of auxiliary power failure for single-acting configurations. The unit is equipped with an aluminum manometer block and a plastic manometer for pressure monitoring.
