The Siemens SIPART PS2 positioner (6DR5022-0DG10-0AA0) is a smart, electropneumatic device used for precise control of pneumatic actuators in process industries. It features a 4-20mA analog input for position control and supports both Ex (explosion-proof) and non-Ex applications. This model comes with a stainless steel (SST) enclosure, no window, and utilizes non-contacting (wear-free) position detection (NCS). It is designed for double-acting actuators and is compatible with pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators.
Its standard type of protection includes increased safety (Ex e) and dust ignition protection by enclosure (Ex t), making it suitable for hazardous environments. The unit includes a Digital I/O Module (DIO) with 1 digital input and 3 digital outputs for limit values and fault indication. Electrical connections are via M20x1.5 thread, and pneumatic connections are G 1/4. This version does not include optional modules like a manometer block or booster, and provides brief instructions in English, German, and Chinese.
