This unit features an Intel Core i5-520M processor running at 2.4 GHz, a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920x1080) display, and a QWERTY keyboard with German layout. It includes a DVD RW drive, a 500 GB SATA HDD, and 3 GB of DDR3 RAM.

This Field PG comes pre-installed with Windows XP Professional (English MUI with German, French, Spanish, and Italian images on HDD) and a trial license for STEP 7 Professional and WinCC flexible ADVANCED, with software versions from April 2010. It is equipped with multiple ports, including 4 USB (rear) and 1 USB (front), and supports PROFINET (IE) with 2x 1 Gbit Ethernet ports.
