The Siemens SINAMICS Power Module PM240-2 (6SL3210-1PE12-3UL1) is an unfiltered drive component with an integrated braking chopper, designed for variable speed motor control. It operates on a 380-480V 3AC power supply with a tolerance of +10/-10% and a frequency range of 47-63 Hz. This module supports high overload operation at 0.55kW (200% for 3s, 150% for 57s, 100% for 240s) with an ambient temperature range of -10 to +50 °C, and low overload at 0.75kW (150% for 3s, 110% for 57s, 100% for 240s) with an ambient temperature range of -10 to +40 °C.
With dimensions of 196x73x165 mm (HxWxD) and frame size FSA, the module offers an IP20 protection degree. It is released as of CU firmware version V4.6 and requires a separate Control Unit and operating unit for full functionality. This power module is suitable for a wide array of applications in manufacturing, material handling, and other industrial sectors where precise motor speed regulation is essential.
