The Siemens SITRANS FM MAG 5100 W is a full-bore electromagnetic flow sensor designed for accurate volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. This model features DN 80 (3 inch) ANSI B16.5 Class 150 carbon steel flanges (ASTM A105) with a protective 150-micron painting. It utilizes an Ebonite liner and Hastelloy C-276 measuring electrodes, and is designed for remote transmitter operation (transmitter sold separately). The sensor is equipped with 1/2 inch NPT cable glands and can be fitted with a Polyamid terminal box or the optional 6000 I compact transmitter. Bus communication is not supported.
This flow sensor is suitable for various applications in water abstraction, water and wastewater treatment, water distribution networks, and custody transfer metering. The Ebonite liner and Hastelloy C-276 electrodes ensure reliable performance and durability in diverse liquid media.
