The Siemens SITRANS LR560 (7ML54400GA001AA2) is a continuous, non-contact radar level transmitter optimized for general solids applications with a reduced maximum range of 40 meters (131 ft). It features a flush lens antenna and operates within a process temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. The transmitter is equipped with a universal flat-faced flange for 3" / 80 mm ANSI/DIN/JIS connections, a painted aluminum housing with an integral aimer, and a stainless steel enclosure with a 1 x 1/2" NPT cable inlet. The pressure rating is up to 3 bar g (40 psi g).
This model is well-suited for applications where a shorter measurement range is sufficient, such as smaller silos, bins, and hoppers in industries like agriculture, construction materials, and waste management. It holds standard approvals for ordinary locations, including FM and cCSAus.
