The Siemens 7ME3950-5LP00 is a high-precision, clamp-on ultrasonic transit time flow sensor. This sensor, designated Size D1H, is paired and dedicated for use with steel pipes, suitable for liquids in potentially explosive atmospheres (Ex Zone 0,1,2; Class 1, Div 1,2). It accommodates pipe wall thicknesses from 8.1 to 11.2 mm and operates effectively at temperatures below 80°C, with a maximum ambient range of -40°C to +121°C.
Constructed with a Polyetherimide/StSt corrosion-resistant housing, this sensor is built for demanding environments. It is ideal for industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, and water management where safety and precision are critical. It includes the necessary couplant and a sanding block for installation with FST020, FST030 transmitters.
