The Siemens SITRANS Probe LR (7ML5430-1AD10) is a continuous, non-contact radar level transmitter designed for liquids and slurries, offering a 20-meter (66 ft) range. This intrinsically safe version is suitable for hazardous locations, featuring FM, Class I, II & III, Div 1 approvals. It has a plastic (PBT) enclosure, two 1/2 inch NPT cable inlets, and a 1-1/2 inch NPT tapered polypropylene antenna with an integral 100 mm shield. Operating at 6.3 GHz, it includes FCC approvals for North America.
This transmitter is engineered for demanding applications in hazardous environments within the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas industries, and other sectors where explosive atmospheres may be present. Its intrinsically safe design with Class I, II & III, Div 1, Groups A-G approvals ensures safe operation when used with a suitable barrier.
