The Siemens SITRANS Probe LU 7ML5221-2AA18 is a continuous, non-contact ultrasonic level transmitter designed for monitoring the level and volume of liquids and slurries. It features a maximum range of 6 meters (20 ft) with an ETFE transducer material and a 2" NPT process connection. This intrinsically safe model is approved for CSA/FM Class I, Div. 1, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Div. 1 Groups E, F, G; Class III T4 hazardous locations.
This transmitter is ideal for a variety of applications in industries such as chemical processing, water and wastewater treatment, oil and gas, and food and beverage. Its non-contact measurement principle makes it suitable for corrosive or viscous media where other technologies might fail. The HART communication allows for remote configuration and diagnostics.
