The Siemens SITRANS Probe LU 7ML5221-2AA21 is a continuous, non-contact ultrasonic level transmitter designed for monitoring the level and volume of liquids and slurries. It offers a maximum range of 12 meters (40 ft) with an ETFE transducer material and a 2" NPT process connection. This version is intrinsically safe and approved for CSA/FM Class I, Div. 1, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Div. 1 Group E, F, G; Class III T4 hazardous locations.
This transmitter is well-suited for demanding applications in industries such as petrochemical, chemical processing, and bulk solids handling. The non-contact measurement technology ensures reliability even with aggressive media, dust, or vapors. Optional PROFIBUS PA communication can be integrated for advanced network integration.
