The Siemens SITRANS Probe LU (7ML5221-2AA11) is a continuous, non-contact ultrasonic level transmitter designed for monitoring level and volume in liquids and slurries. This model features a 6-meter (20 ft) range with an ETFE transducer and a 2" NPT process connection. It offers 4-20mA HART communication and is approved for Ordinary Locations/General Purpose (Non-Ex).
This transmitter is suitable for a wide range of general industrial applications, including water treatment, chemical processing, and storage tanks where non-hazardous environment operation is sufficient. Its non-contact measurement is advantageous for challenging media. The unit has a PBT plastic enclosure with 2 x 1/2" NPT cable entries (no glands supplied).
